'The Archivist', produced by Myroslav Borys (Napoleon/Monasteries), is the first act of a new story to be told through Winter Hotel's releases this year, the “To Burn Beneath The Spotlight” trilogy. Sweeping guitar melodies support the raw, emotional vocals and anthemic choruses, as the track displays the band's lightest influences in the realms of Midwest-Emo and Post Hardcore, while still maintaining heavy elements that will catch listeners by surprise.

“Act I: The Archivist is the first track and first part of our new story 'To Burn Beneath the Spotlight'. As the title suggests, it’s the first of three tracks that make up our next release, centering around the story of someone watching their life being performed in front of them on stage before taking to the stage themselves, marking an end to both the performance and to their life.”

With the rest of the “To Burn Beneath The Spotlight” release still to come in 2022, Winter Hotel immerse themselves within a recovering music scene, bringing their power, energy and spirit through both their theatrical new releases and their live shows.
